Cash Cab Quick Facts - New Season Starts This September

Canada's favourite Taxi-based Game Show returns with a new season on Saturday September 11, 2010. But do you want to know what goes into creating and filming a game show that's set to become a Canadian favourite?

Has anyone ever declined to play? If so, do you still take them to their destination?
Yes, a few times people hailed the cab and really just wanted to continue on their journey and not play the game. Depending on our schedule, we sometimes will drive them to their destination and other times we'll hail a cab for them. Once, during the Toronto Fringe Festival, on a very rainy afternoon, a woman hailed the cab in a flurry of tears and anger. She had forgotten her entire costume for a play she was in. When she found out she was on tape in a 'quiz show cab', her frustration grew and she broke into a very high pitched wail. We quickly jumped out and grabbed her a cab and sent her to her destination. We think that's what she would have wanted, but we're not sure.

What's the most money anyone has ever won on the show so far?
In season one - $1350

How do you get to be a contestant on Cash Cab?
For the upcoming season, try hailing a cab in downtown Toronto.

Does Adam ever get distracted by his hosting duties while he's driving?
Adam is a very conscientious driver. He is more often distracted from hosting by his driving than vice versa. However, he is known to linger at a red light a little too long during a Red Light Challenge.

Are there plans to take the show to cities other than Toronto?
We would like to eventually take the show to other cities.
